Request Support

If you’d like to request support from CMHIS or a bi-regional Hub, please review the following information and guidelines.

What we can provide

The Center for Mental Health Implementation Support (CMHIS) and our bi-regional Hubs can help your organization or system improve the delivery of mental health care by supporting you in preparing, implementing, and sustaining effective prevention, treatment, and recovery programs and services. Our services are free.

We offer support in how to do the following:

  • Engaging the community and assessing their mental health needs

  • Identifying factors that influence implementation

  • Deciding what support is needed to implement a new practice

  • Using clinical progress to guide treatment

  • Marketing programs and services

  • Using data to improve service delivery

  • Evaluating program outcomes

  • Sustaining service delivery

Who is eligible to receive services

CMHIS serves grantees funded by SAMHSA’s Center for Mental Health Services (including service, capacity building, and technical assistance recipients) and organizations that oversee or directly provide mental health services.

What we cannot provide

When making your request, keep in mind that CMHIS does not provide training on specific evidence-based practices. Also, CMHIS cannot aid in obtaining specific grants or allocate funding to support your organization or a specific project you wish to start.

We also cannot provide direction or advice on an individual’s mental health services. If this is a mental health emergency, call 988. If you are looking for a treatment facility or have questions about substance use and/or mental health challenges please use the Get Help contacts listed at the bottom of the webpage.

Please submit your request for assistance below and a member of our staff will reach out to you.
